Laurent Crawford’s distinguished basketball career began in Chicago at Martin Luther King High School. After graduating from King, he played at Chicago State University where he received high recognition when he was voted pre-season Honorable Mention All American by Street and Smith and Adidas and was three-time elected All Independence Conference Team. Crawford received further recognition  when he was invited to the exclusive NBA Pre-draft Camp in Chicago. Crawford was drafted to the CBA in the United States, and, after a few stints at the NBA, he played overseas for many years in Spain, Argentina, and Australia. Following his professional career, Crawford coached at Northeastern Illinois University, North Carolina A&T State University, and University High Lab School in Chicago, Illinois. Crawford has also been involved as a professional scout for players in the United States and overseas.  He holds a certificate in personal training from American Academy of Body Sculpting (AABS). In addition, Crawford has taken his skills to the screen. As an actor, he has been in the several movies including: Like Mike, Lets Go To Prison and various independent films. He has also done many national commercials for Gatorade, Nike, Miller Lite, and Footlocker to name a few. Crawford holds a BS from DePaul University.
